Blockchain RegTech Comes to Life in Vietnam


Today was a day of vision and innovation in Hanoi, Vietnam, as the city hosted its 2018 Blockchain Forum. The event was abuzz with industry leaders and innovators, coming together to present to the greater South East Asia business community the tenants of decentralized technology. A number of government officials and regulators were also in attendance, and the discussion regarding blockchain’s place in society was pushed forward.

QRC’s own CEO Adam Vaziri, as well as South East Asia director Cris Tran were in attendance, each giving keynote presentations during the event. The event itself got a large amount of coverage in the Vietnamese press, and Adam and Cris were each surprised to find themselves described as the main highlight of the day.

Adam and Cris’ presentations discussed the changing regulatory environment in the financial industry. The RegTech solutions that must be developed in order to integrate blockchain  into the mainstream economy were emphasized.
